Transverse, single CR123 lithium battery. Night vision compatible with side button controls.Quick release mount and raised 7mm base with quick release lever. Battery cap and latch are eliminated and replaced with a simple O-ring, tethered cap. Shortened base only requires 2.75 inches of rail space. Battery compartment is separate from base.
