I stumbled upon this ammo while testing more expensive Wingmaster HD and Hevi-Shot loads. Neither of the "premium" loads performed well out of the choke/gun combo, but the Federal Strut Shok threw an extremely tight,even pattern at 30 yards. Max range is forty yards, the pattern opens drastically after this, but inside of thirty five it is lights out. I have shot three turkeys with this ammo at 15,25, and 30 yards. At 15,25 they dropped stone dead, I made a poor shot on the farther bird and it required a follow up. Great ammo, great price, HARD TO FIND in stock!
