i have yet to find a drawback to using the tpod.
one of the users indicated that it was a 2 handed task to colapse / close the pod, but when transitioning from prone to movement, i have been able to close it with one hand by dropping the muzzle end to my thigh as i transition.
as with all tools, the more you use it, the more familiar you become.

Well made, option to attach temp (push button release) and optional use of included screw. Good height to clear 30 rd mag. Retracting bi-pod is a two hand task press together and up while pressing release buttons. Very satisfied.
